3 Mistakes Spiritual People Make

It is amazing to be tuned in spiritually, to live a positive lifestyle, and to see the opportunities spirit provide for us.  We want to want to share it with the everyone we know, but in doing so we get push back from those who are not there yet.  This becomes frustrating and because we are empathic, we feel as though we have to push harder and convince others to be as spiritual as we are.  So, I have put together a list of 3 big mistakes we make as spiritual people.  I hope this helps you.

1. Trying to please everyone.

You say yes to everyone before you say yes to yourself.  Yes, I will drop everything and take of that for you.  Yes, I will take the class you suggest even though I’m not really interested.  Yes, this was shown to me so spirit must want me to do it.  Yes, I will do that because I don’t want you to be upset.

Sound familiar?  By being a people pleaser, we run ourselves down to the point we are unhappy, unsatisfied, and internally frustrated that our needs are not
being met.  This leads to us feeling as though we are doing something wrong.

It’s not wrong to want to help, love, and join in; but when we do it to the point of not putting ourselves first is when discontent sets in.

There is an old saying, “you can’t pour from an empty vessel.”  So, stop trying to.

When you take care of you first, you have more to give.

So next time say no, check in with your intuition before you sign up for something because someone else thinks you should, and say yes to yourself!

2. Not clearing your energy field regularly.

We are spirit in human form, and our bodies need us to clear our energy fields and ground ourselves on a regular basis to keep a healthy balance.

When was the last time you just felt off?  Legs felt heavy?  Neck and shoulders tight?  Nerves on edge to where you get sensory overload?

Chances are it had been awhile since you did a clearing.

Go outside, take a sea salt bath, do an aura cleansing, and balance your chakras.

3. Spiritual guilt.

We walk around with the paradigm that to be truly spiritual we can not also be affluent, live a life of luxury or even have nice things.  Being spiritual does NOT mean you have to take a vow of poverty, or live within minimal means.  You can be extremely spiritual and still live a life from first class not the economy section.  It is not one or the other.  Spirit wants you to live life abundantly, enjoying all it has to offer while being as spiritually connected as you can be.  The days of the yogi going to a cave because they had evolved to certain vibrational level are over!  We need to shine our light so others can see.  This in turns helps them work towards wanting to raise their conscious vibration because they see you.
